November weather at sea

Hello out there, we are 1st time cruisers from UK leaving on 18 November for one week Eastern Caribbean on Caribbean Princess.

Usually go to Caribbean in November, so know we could have some rain, but its always been hot. However, is it cooler out at sea on board, will I be ok in sundresses, beachwear by pool during daytime?

Never fancied a cruise before this, but after everyone raving about them thought would give it a try. Have a balcony cabin on Baja deck.

Thanks in advance for any info on above and handy tips for 1st timers.

Having a Brit as my better half tells me that U will be fine with the surrounding air temps while at sea. Of course Mother Nature can ALWAYS throw in a curve ball here and there but for the MOST part do NOT fret it. As for Tips here is a Link ... Cruise & Travel Tips that contains MANY tips from a LOT of the forum members that might be of help. Enjoy that cruise. :thumb

Nearly half of the cruises we've been on have been in November, and I have never ran into cool weather. Keep in mind, I live in SW Florida, so when I say cool, it would still be way comfortable for most. It got down to 60 degrees here the other morning and I was NOT happy! I would say you will experience hi temps in the 80's (upper 20's to low 30's Celsius) during your trip. Welcome to the world of cruising!

Welcome aboard Jankei! We are sailing with you. We have sailed in November lots of times and the weather is pretty much perfect that time of year for cruising. Of course, there is always a slight possibility that the weatherman could throw us a curve, lol. Love for you to join the rest of us Princess Prowlers in the Wheelhouse Bar right after lifeboat drill. We are planning some great fun during our cruise; love for your bunch to join us!
