I was checking the RCI oasis of the seas website and i was amazed to see the prices they are charging. Even the interior room starts at $1000. Why is that? is it going to change at some point or thats the usual scale of prices they are going to charge for this ship?

New ship = high prices. Wail until the Allure starts sailing and I think you will see a drop in the prices.

Since when RC started charging for a prepaid gratuities when booking for a cruise? Does that mean theres no need to leave any gratuities when sailing?

I believe prepaid gratuities are an option but not a requirement and yes if you prepay nothing further will be required on board. Your prepaid vouchers will be delivered to you so that you can personally distribute to the staff.

If you book My Time Dining for your cruise, you will be required to prepay your gratuities.

What do you mean by "my time dining"?

There is set time dining and flexible time dining. With set time dining you have a preset time and table for dinner. With flexible time dining you can choose when you will eat within a certain time period. The flexible time dining option is called My Time Dining on Royal Caribbean.

Since you don't have the same wait staff every night, you have to prepay your gratuities if you choose the My Time Dining option.
