Obstructed view on Majesty

Looking at deck 9, can anyone tell me what the obstructed view is? I have the latest brochure (excellent job RCCL!) but they don't show lifeboats so I don't know what the obstruction could be. Never been on Majesty and not too concerned just trying to get light in the room.

That means that when you look out your cabin window, you'll probably be looking at a lifeboat. Not the most glamorous thing in the world, but really the only drawback on the Majesty. We were a deck below where ourwindow looked out at the deck where someone could be sitting on a chair reading a book or something. Again, not our favorite situation, but if that is the worst thing about the cruise, you'll have a great time. The ship just went for a refurb at the beginnning of the year and turned out beautiful.

Personlally, I'd save the money and get an inside cabin, but it wasn't a big deal either way.

Thanks, I believe looking at a life boat is sure a better view than work piled on my desk!

I'm with you- I just want some natural light in the room more than anything. Although on my last cruise I had a window that looked out onto a main deck. I didn't love that anyone walking by could see into our room. But I'll still take that over no window :)

Do you think the 9th deck has a walkway where people could see in? I can't seem to find pictures of the outside that would show what that deck looks like. As I said, I don't mind the obstructed view so much, but would mind someone waving to me when I am just waking up....
