Obstructed views on Carnival Triumph?

Can anyone tell me if any balcony cabins on the Carnival Triumph have obstructed views? I think I'm going to book this cruise for my daughter's honeymoon as a gift for her and her fiance. I'm thinking about booking the balcony guarantee room so I won't get to choose my room in advance but if there are obstructed views then I will book a specific cabin instead. Any info is appreciated...

This is the Victory, the Triumph's sister. I do not see any obstructed view balconies ...

Here is the Triumph ...

And here is the Triumph again ...

I was on the Triumph in December and don't believe there are any obstructed view except the cabins that are completely forward. They have obstructed windows and look out onto the deck area on the bow of the ship. We had a great time on the Triumph. December was my 2nd cruise on her.

Here is a link to the deck plans for the Triumph. You can look here and see what is available.

Mojo, we've booked one of those forward cabins. How often were people out on that area of the deck? I've heard it's not often visited and can't find anyone that has info. I'm thinking it would be pretty windy so that may cut down on traffic. We're going in April so I have time to switch if I need to. Thanks in advance for any input you may have.

On newer Carnival ships category 7A are "obstructed balcony" cabins. Not sure what the "obstruction" is though. There are no 7A's on Carnival Triumph so you should be fine if you book a guarantee.

7A are only on Spirit Class ships and they refer to the obstructions from the lifeboats.

Thanks jetblue.

It is also important to take note when booking cat 11 balcony suites on Fantasy Class ships there are a number of those that are obstructed by lifeboats too.

I think only once when we were out on the forward deck was there somone else out there. Many people don't even know about these decks. We were out there several times. It's beautiful at night and yes it is windy. I wouldn't think it would be a big problem, especially if your woried about people being out there when your trying to sleep.
