I have three room reservations on Century Penthouse level-(mid ship) and have opportunity to free change to ocean view on lowest level. (Continental) Should we stay on higher level or move to ocean view? Is the lower you go noisier or more rocking? I need to call my agent 2/26 so please respond tonight if you read this.

Our first cruise was on the Galaxy inside. We didn't like the idea of waking up and not knowing is it was light or dark out. Our second cruise we did and Outside on the Century, we like it much better, however we were on the Panorama Deck. I personally would go for the lower outside cabin.

I personally would grab the outside in a hurry. Room with a view. I doubt it would be any noisier than the penthouse deck with the pool overhead. Also slightly less motion than on teh Penthouse deck.

Go for the ocean view. The lower levels are quiet and less rocking. Have fun!''

I don't mind an inside cabin, but would take an upgrade to outside if it were offered for no more cost.

IMO it depends a LOT on the deck position of the lower level cabin. If it is foward U possibly could have more water noise and anchor noise and if its aft the Century is known to have some vibrational problems at times when entering and exiting ports. We have done it both ways and each way has its advantages. The higher level inside might be a bit quieter and closer to the pool and outdoor areas. The lower level will be a bit closer to the inside public areas and be a have a bit more noise associated with it. Hope this helps.

Go for the outside. Lower decks are fine for roll. Thats said Without checking the ship plans. Watch overhead for bars restaurants etc that go at your normal sleeping hours.
