we did guarantee on our second cruise and had an awesome upgrade from 4A to a 6F oceanview on the Spa deck, our next cruise coming up we just found out that we were upgaded from a 6B to a 11 suite with balcony, I don't know how we get so lucky but I would do the guarantee any time, you can't get worse only better.
