Hi Al. Small world because that is my name as well. I'm not a travel agent and don't have extensive cruise experience, although I do have some. So take this for what it's worth. You know that old saying about the 3 factors in real estate valuation are location, location and location? Well that also somewhat applies to cruise cabins and hotel rooms. More desireable the location higher the price. Lower the price, less desireable the location. The 2001 rm on the continenntal deck is in the category of the least expensive oceanview cabins onboard. There are only about 20 of them. Five on each side in the very front and 5 on each side on the very rear. They are also on the lowest deck. None of them are wonderful. You would have to move to another more expensive category in order to get a better room.As a general rule I like to be toward the middle of the ship and not in one of the 3 lowest decks. My observation is the ship always has some few "bargains", cabins in bad locations like at the extremities or obstructed views. I hope this helps. Good luck.
