A few additional thoughts. Along with comfort from seasickness if you are towards the middle of the ship you are closer to the elevators and stairs. If you are at the very rear or front you probably have a fairly long jaunt to anywhere. Of course this can be an advantage if walking off the nine course dinner.The post above brought up a good point. If you have only so many dollars to spend it may be a wiser choice to put those same $$$ to use on a well located inside cabin as opposed to a poorly located ocean view cabin. You probably won't spend that much time in your cabin anyway so perhaps the location is more important then a view. That's for you to decide.
