ALL CARNIVAL CONQUEST FUTURE DEPARTURES

September 1, 2005

Dear Carnival Guest:

We want to provide you with information about all future departures on the Carnival Conquest. Due to the indefinite closing of the Port of New Orleans from the effects of Hurricane Katrina, we will not be able to operate our scheduled departures from New Orleans. We have decided to operate these cruises from Galveston, Texas. The itinerary will remain as scheduled on all departures. The ship will embark and disembark at:

Texas Cruise Ship Terminal on Galveston Island
2502 Harborside Drive
Galveston, Texas 77550
Phone (409) 765-9321
http://www.galveston.com/port/index.shtml

Carnival will provide guests that sail and that are fully paid and/or deposited as of September 1, 2005, with a $50 per person credit to their onboard Sail & Sign charge account.

If you purchased air transportation from Carnival, our air/sea department will change your flights to arrive and depart from Houston. They will contact you with the new flight information.

If you elect to cancel the cruise, please contact us immediately to cancel your booking. You will receive a full refund of your cruise fare and these refunds will be processed in less than two weeks.

We sincerely apologize for this itinerary change caused by Hurricane Katrina. Listed below are your booking(s) for this cruise. We want to thank you for choosing Carnival for your vacation, and look forward to welcoming you aboard the spectacular Carnival Conquest.
.

Sincerely,

Vicki L. Freed, CTC
Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing

after reading on the website today regarding Carnival's decison to move our cruise from New Orleans to Galveston (sail date Oct.23). I spent the best part of an hour an half on the phone with Delta airlines. They accomodated the change no charge. I was afraid since we did not book the flights through Carnival tha I was going to have to pay $$ to get it changed.

I was so looking forward to being in New Orleans. :-(

My heart goes out to everyone who is suffering.

I have to call and cancel our motel rooms.......but no surprise there is no answer.

So nice to see that an airline would not charge extra.

I'm also glad that Carnival is keeping people informed!

I am not thinking that the airlines are going to be too picky in rescheduling as even they cannot fly you into new orleans anyway. And that hotel you need to cancel, I am sure its already cancelled.

We also had to change and cancel our hotel in New Orleans. They fully refunded it and now we are having to fly to Galveston and get rooms there. We are on the Conquest October 23-30. Any one else going then?

Linda,

We are going on Nov 13th and having a hard time trying to figure out shuttle from airport and hotel without spending an arm and leg. If you dont mind what did you have to pay for your shuttle and room. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I just received a call from my travel agent saying she got a fax this morning from Carnival. She said if I wanted to cancel I HAD to do it by this weekend for a FULL refund. Just to let anyone else know who is still thinking about canceling but haven't yet. I told her I wasn't going to cancel and to let me know if it changes port again after Rita.
