OK, I made my decision

I agonized over the decision to keep Simon or not all night. I pictured in my mind taking him to the vet for his check up. I pictured his little face when I left him there and ended up crying, so I knew right there that was it, I have to have him.

So, I got up my nerve and called The park manager. I have been told he is a real jerk and a stickler for maintaining the rules, so I was sweating bullets. I got his wife. I told her I already had 2 cats, but since the lease said we could have a dog also, but since I was handicapped a dog was too much to handle. But, someone had dumped a little kitten on my and I had fallen head over heals in love with it, and would like to keep it as a 3rd indoor cat.

NO PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next step is to find a vet that will check him at a reduced cost for me. He has to pass the flv test, or I can't keep him. The pound will euthanize him if he tests positive, so I have to find a no kill shelter that will keep him if I can't. I can't wait to take a photo of all 3 of my babies. Am I hopeless or what????

You should contact a cat rescue group in your area. They can provide you with a list of vets that would discount their fees.

I hope he tests out ok.

How could you not love such a cute little thing? Bless you for taking him in. If I had my way, I would take every one I found in, it breaks my heart to see kitties without homes. Before we were married, DH brought one home that he kept seeing every morning on his ride to work. I named him Frank and he is still hanging around after14 years.
