CC on the Century....think I talked hubby into it. Guess I am looking for some reassurance
that the extra money we will spend will be worth it.
This the Century so it does not have a balcony. If it had a balcony...I wouldn't hesitate in booking but.....
no balcony...no free T-pool either.
Is the room any nicer or the vip invites worth it???/
might book tonight....help me feel good about this please?????
thanks a million

Well I gave the TA the go ahead to book vista deck, oceanview room.
I just didn't have a good feeling about the CC...so I went with my gut instinct.
My TA will get me more info about the CC.....but for now....it looks like vista deck/oceanview
will be the choice.
thanks anyway guys.

I have never stayed in a CC cabin, but in the Captains Club magazine we get it said they were so popular that they were adding more CC cabins to the M-class ships =shrug I have stayed in a suite on the Century and loved it, we also stayed in a standard cabin and it was just fine as well. So basically, I don't think you can go wrong in what ever cabin you choose. I like the amenities in the CC cabins, we are thinking of getting one on our next Celebrity cruise. You are going to have a great time in any cabin, enjoy :wave

Thanks Laurie.....I feel good about our choices. We got an adjoining room for the 2 girls and hubby, son and I in the other. Should work well.
At least its booked and we can now sit back....and
diet!!!
thanks for the notes and advise!!!

We went on the Century in May and the ship is great. We had a large outside cabin and it was very nice. The ship is a little older, built in 96 but I love it. It is just the right size, not to big so that it is easy to get around. The service, the food and the entertainment were all excellent. This was the most friendly crew we have ever had,and this was our 23rd. cruise.By the way they do not have automatic gratuity"s I think that this is largely responsible for the excellent service.Good luck.

Thanks for the info on the century viet630......glad to hear it was as wonderful as I am hoping it be for us.
Thanks too SailingRose for your offer........your room has a balcony???? On the century it does not
and that is why it was so tough deciding.
Have a great time!!!

dreamer,
While Mercury and Galaxy are both Century class ships, when they were built (after Century) they added more balconies. So you don't have to get a suite to get a balcony on the other ships, just the Century. I wish they had more balconies on the Century too :wave
