NEW ON-LINE 'TRAVEL AGENT CENTER' INTRODUCED BY WORLD'S LEADING CRUISE LINES

MIAMI (12/17/03) - Travel agents now have access to an innovative
on-line marketing tool with the introduction of
www.worldsleadingcruiselines.com/agents
<http://www.worldsleadingcruiselines.com/agents>, a new web site from the
World's Leading Cruise Lines (WLCL).
The WLCL's new on-line "Travel Agent Center" is designed to help agents sell
more cruises with the alliance's seven members -- Carnival Cruise Lines,
Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Costa Cruises, Windstar Cruises,
Cunard Line, and The Yachts of Seabourn.
"The Internet has become an indispensable tool for travel research and the
WLCL's new 'Travel Agent Center' provides travel agents with convenient and
insightful information on the alliance's seven member lines to help their
clients choose the cruise that matches their interests and vacation
preferences," said WLCL Executive Director Jack Anderson.
One of the more interesting features of the site is the new
"eMarketing Accelerator." Travel agents can select professionally designed,
promotional "e-postcards" from any of the seven member lines, and
personalize the postcard with their own message and agency contact
information. The epostcards can be downloaded and sent from the agent to
their clients. New promotional epostcards will be made available on a
regular basis.
There are also World's Leading Cruise Lines epostcards that promote current
offers for the WLCL's Vacation Interchange Privileges (VIP) program, in
which WLCL member lines extend certain of their past guests offers to anyone
who has sailed previously on any of the other member lines.
The site also features a fun, interactive "Cruise Vacation
Concierge" to help agents qualify clients and recommend the right cruise
line based on budget, interests and vacation preferences.
Using a simple "point and click" world map, agents can also quickly
determine which cruise lines serve specific destinations - by cruise
duration and season.
Also featured are video clips for each of the member lines, important
contact information including web addresses and reservations numbers, a
complete listing of current VIP offers from each cruise line, and "hot
links" directly to each of the cruise lines' own Web sites.
The World's Leading Cruise Lines marketing alliance was established by
Carnival Corporation & plc as a means of communicating a highly diversified,
global cruise product that capitalizes on the unique attributes and
amenities of its seven distinct member lines, which include:
Carnival Cruise Lines - The largest and most popular cruise line in
the world, Carnival's "Fun Ships" offer a one-of-a-kind vacation experience
enjoyed by guests of all ages and backgrounds.
Costa Cruises - Europe's number one cruise operator, Costa offers cruising
"Italian-style," with a distinctive shipboard ambiance, outstanding cuisine
and a diversity of activities and entertainment.
Cunard Line - From more than 160 years of British tradition to innovation to
legendary White Star Service, Cunard Line's famous ocean liners offer a
gracious lifestyle, tantalizing cuisine and global adventures.
Holland America Line - The leader in the premium category, Holland America's
modern award-winning fleet is known for top-of-the-line amenities,
multi-million dollar art collections and fine craftsmanship.
Princess Cruises - The leader in destination cruising offers a wide variety
of choice in dining and entertainment together with excellent service aboard
its modern fleet of balcony-rich Love Boats.
Seabourn Cruise Line - Among the finest cruise products in the world, the

cuisine and worldwide itineraries.

"definitely 180 degrees from ordinary."

96,000 lower berths. WLCL member lines have 12 new ships slated for delivery
between now and mid-2006 representing more than 22,000 new lower berths.
