Sometimes the one days sales are not good. Do your homework.
When we booked the Liberty= we paid 749 for a balcony. A few monts later the one day sale had the same cat cabin for 80 bucks more.

Basically their "sale" consists of a one cat. upgrade, which means that you get the same cabin, one deck up. Such "upgrades" are routinely offerred by all lines. In most cases, I'd rather stay on the lower deck.

The one day sales are excellent. My husband and I booked our April cruise on the Legend during the last one and were given an upgrade from 8A to 8I and we now have extended balcony on Panorama Deck. The base price of the cruise was lower and the upgrades for the sale were best available, not one or two upgrades. We just booked my neice and her fiance on the same cruise (travel agent had one day option to pre-book) and even though we booked them a 4A they were given a 4E and are now on the Panorama Deck with us. It is the travel agent you have, not necessarily what the cruise line offers. With my nieces booking, the price was lower than when we were looking at a cabin for her when we booked our balcony cabin. Her inside cabin was 699 two months ago at last sale date, now it is 569 and the 4 category upgrade. Hope this helps.
