I was in Talkeetna 2 years ago on the way to Denali. Unless I missed something, there's not much to do in Talkeetna, but if you are limited by time, I suppose that is as good a place as any to stop and turn back to Anchorage. If you can, I would suggest you drive all the way to Denali, with a stopover for lunch in Talkeetna. The drive to Denali is about 6 hours (if I remember correctly).Post Edited (06-23-04 16:34)
