Anyone done the one nighter out of Los Angeles? Thought it might be fun. One night is better than no nights cruising.

Not sure about LA, but we did the one night out of Miami and loved it. Get one as early as you can, which would mean lunch, dinner, show and breakfast. We paid $99 pp for a balcony. Try paying $200 for a room and three meals for two people anywhere in LA or Miami. It just doesn't happen. And you're right, one day is better than no day!

Toni, are you doing the Spirit? Did the Dawn in May and we are doing the Spirit on 9/15. I'd be anxious to hear your observations/tips as we are taking a ton of "newbies" including my MIL and my DS'es MIL and FIL. I am very anxious for them to have a good time. On the Dawn we basically sat at the pool, ate and drank, watched the sailaway from Lido, then spent the rest of the night in the casino, but realize this trip we will want to go to dinner, maybe a show, etc. Have a great time and anxious to hear all about it!
