Not sure about LA, but we did the one night out of Miami and loved it. Get one as early as you can, which would mean lunch, dinner, show and breakfast. We paid $99 pp for a balcony. Try paying $200 for a room and three meals for two people anywhere in LA or Miami. It just doesn't happen. And you're right, one day is better than no day!
