This is the first time on NCL and I don't clearly remember the proceedure from Royal.
We are going on our cruise in late fall. We need to pay the other 1/2 of our cruise (paid for 1/2 when we signed up).
When we pay for the other 1/2 (probably in August) will that be too early to do our online check-in?
I know they suggest to do it at least 5 days prior and for sure a couple days prior to set sail. But how soon can you do that proceedure? Also, what information should I have handy? I think (if I remember right) I will need Airlines & flight numbers, pass port numbers, & credit card. Is that correct?

nope that is perfect. As soon as you make final payment do your on line paper work, it saves so much time.

all you really need will be 1-passports 2-credit card 3-edocs or on line registration. even they don't always look at your copy but if you have pre-registered they will have it on the computer.

ok, you will need the passport numbers, plus X date, etc, an emergancy phone number and name and of course your reservation number to bring your record up. I think that is the most important. They may ask for info on arrival and departure, such as are you flying, if so, flight number, and departure time. You really don't have to provide all that. If nothing else, assuming you don't have the info just put you are arriving by car.

Hope this helps,

Actually, you don't need to wait to do online checkin.I booked my cruise in June (November repo) and made the down payment. A few minutes later I got my confirmation and immediately went online and did the registration. Final payment is still 2 weeks away.

Have a great cruise.

Also, they request that you do it no later than three days prior to sailing.
