We had an upper bunk on the Victory.. At night The room steward would pull it down from the ceiling and turn down the blankets for Devin who was sleeping there and in the morning when she came in to clean she would put it back into the ceiling.  You don't even know it's there it's pretty neat. There is a small ladder that need to be climbed to get into the bunk, that also goes away during the day.
