My mom just did the Spirit 12 night cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii. Yes, the seas were rough going to Hawaii, but they never bothered her a bit. The closer you get to Hawaii, the warmer the weather gets and the calmer the seas get (usually). The seas can't be that bad or the cruise lines wouldn't keep sending ships across the Pacific! I do think you have a good mind set though - expect the worst and you'll be pleasantly surprised! Bring all the meds, and you probably won't need them.
