Overrun by kids in summer?!

Okay, thanks to some of your replies, and looking in to it more, I think the Conquest is the cruise we are eyeing now. But something I just thought of.. is the boat going to be overrun with kids if we go in the summer? Does Carnival limit the number of kids allowed on a cruise?

Has anyone sailed a lot in the school summer break time and have any idea?

Thanks!

Carnival has lots of families and party folk all the time, especially on Holiday sailings, Spring Break, and Summer

"Lots of families" as in how bad? No offence, I love children, but I'm kind of looking for the party/fun ship experience, thus thought Carnival was my best bet. But since I am a student myself, and my program goes into June.. summer is the only option..

We were on Victory this past April and they said there were 1200 kids and most weeks of spring break it was like that. In summer they said they average 600 kids per cruise. Based on that, summer should be a little less crowded with kids then spring break. Just know ahead of time that there will be kids. I seriously doubt they limit the #of kids on the cruise since you pay the same price for 3rd and 4th person in cabin whether its a kid or adult.

No, Carnival does not limit the # of kids on their ships. Yes there will be a lot of kids on any summer sailing. FYI Princess does limit the # of kids that are allowed to book on any sailing.
