Has anyone ever stayed in the "owners suite" on carnival ?? I never knew one existed until today! They offered to me at $1,700 per person on the sensation 4 day cruise! seems expensive!! Are you treated like royalty in the os??

For that kind of money you can get close to getting a 7 day with a balcony for two. Maybe not necessarily expensive for the cabin, best I have ever stayed in is a cat 12 suite on a fantasy class but I can think of a lot more cruising I could do with $3400 than 4 days somewhere. Carnival is not known for topping the perks list but for that kind of money you should get some fruit, bottle of champagne, and priority tender if you have a tender port.

The owners suite is like an apartment, only one per ship, its the mirrored windows overlooking the lido deck pool, I haven't been lucky enough to get it yet and it is almost never offered....I would be highly tempted to pay that for it just to say I did it once but that is allot of money for 4 days, I use to have some pics of one and I will try to find them, if I can find them I will post them on here for you....

I have looked at several different deck plans and I don't see one on Sensation. What deck is it on. The only thing I see are the Cat 12's with the extended balconies. I know they used to have owner's suites on Fantasy class ships but years ago they took them out and moved Camp Carnival in to that space. I'm confused =huh

There is allot of confusion on the owners suite, I talked to a Carnival Rep a couple years ago and asked her about the owners suite, she had no idea of what I was talking about so I told her I would send her the same pics that I posted on here. After she got them she called me (we had a really good working relationship, spent hours on the phone just talking) and said she never knew about that cabin and was going to ask around...strangely enough it wasnt long after that I tried to call her and they said she no longer worked for Carnival...I think all the Carnival ships have one of these cabins but they dont want the public to know about them...keep it a secret for some reason I guess, just my opinion though...if you look at the deck plans on the sensation you will see an area on the veranda deck that seems to be used for nothing...I think this is where the cabin should be...it overlooks the slide and pool on the lido deck...

Go here:

http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/Carnival/sensation.php

Right below the Grand Atrium on the Verandah deck is Camp Carnival. THAT is where there Owners suites [one on each side] when the Fantasy class ships were built. Over the years, they got converted to other uses, mainly Camp Carnival. Is the Depiction that this area is now Camp Carnival accurate, or is one side CC and the other still one remaining Owners suite? I don't know. But that's were they were/are.

I always thought they were one deck above on the Sports Deck in that blank area behind the Grand Atrium.

Verandah deck aft of the Grand Atrium is where they were. I had a cruise scheduled on a Fantasy class a few years back and was in conversation with Uncle Bob [then Pres] about a variety of other subjects. I asked if they ever actively tried to sell the OS's, they were not then. Then I 'suggested' :lol that I would not mind if he would upgrade me into one. He asked what ship? Turned out they were already gone on that ship, RATS!
