We are doing the 12 day full transit on the Dawn in April 2004. It also does a reverse itinerary in October. We depart from San Juan and end in Acapulco. I think it's a relocation cruise to move from the Caribbean to Alaska. You might check into something like that. We wanted a shorter cruise, but also wanted to go all the way through the Canal. This seemed like the best of both worlds - hope this helps!
