We sailed the Paradise last February. We LOVED her. It was great not to have smoking anywhere (and they are SERIOUS about this.) They have a free suchi bar which was wonderful. The ship is clean, staff extremely friendly. We had a wonderful time. Best of luck to you.

We sailed the Eastern route. Nassau, St. Thomas, San Juan.
We rented a car in San Juan from Charley's and drove up to the Rain Forest. Then explored the Old City later in the day.
We went to Magen's Bay and Coki Beach in St. Thomas. Magens Bay is very pretty but no snorkeling. Coki Beach is smaller and less picturesque but had snorkeling right off the beach.
Nassau itself is pretty run down, but Paradise Beach is very elegant. We were in Nassau a couple of times previously and to snorkeling tours, which were very good.

My husband and I sailed 9-01 on the Paradise........it was our first cruise. We loved it! A beautiful ship. I don't think we had any complaints. Enjoy!

I have been on 5 cruises. 4 have been on Carnival and one on Royal Caribbean. The Royal Caribbean was this past November and was 11 days. We had a great time, but the age of the people on the boat was a little up there. But we still had a great time.
My advice is, go with an open mind, go to have a good time, and don't cry over the little things that don't seem right.
A cruise is only as good as YOU make it! That is true with any vacation.

My mind is opened & ready to sail. We are the kind of people who make the best of whatever we are handed. Otherwise, it could lead to a pretty miserable vacation & I plan on having the time of my life!

We were on the Paradise in 2001 and will be on her again in June. It is a wonderful ship. It's great going to the casino and other locations and not having someone blow smoke in your general direction. They are very serious about ennforcement too. It's also great coming home and your clothes not smelling smokey. The ship is clean, well laid out, and lots of fun activities as are all Carnival cruises. We have been on both the Eastern and Western trips. They are both loads of fun. The June trip will be back on the Eastern Caribbean. St. Thomas is a great place for shopping. I also had my first parasailing adventure on Coki Beach, St. Thomas. What a thrill. Have a great trip.

Sailed last christmas. It was great no people smoling in elevators and ignoring no smoking signs. Actually going to a bar and your clothes don't smell like 12 different brands of cigarettes!
