In the Carnival brochure it does not mention that there is a difference in the tip rate for kids. Carnival does have an automatic tipping system. They will put tips on your Sign and Sail cards that equal $9.75 a day per person. You CAN go to the pursers desk and change this amount or eliminate it all together and than just tip what you feel comfortable tipping. The rates for tipping will be in your documents. The automatic tip takes care of your room steward and your wait staff. If you wish to tip the Maitre d' that is seperate from the automatic tip.

If you use room service generally you would tip whoever delivers the room service a buck or two when they deliver the order depending on how much you have ordered. A 15% tip will automatically be added to your drink bill. If you buy soda cards for anyone the tip IS included in the price of the soda card. Kids soda cards are cheaper than adults.
