They allow you to buy cigarettes and non-Cuban cigars at port, they take them at security when you reboard, then give it back to you when you exit the ship. A lady was reboarding at a port ahead of us with a bag of cigars. Security looked at them and informed her she could not bring them aboard because they were Cubans. She tried to explain they were for a relative back home. They said No. She asked what she was supposed to do now. They told her, get back off the ship and either smoke them fast or throw them away. She was one frustrated camper, as she pushed past the rest of us boarding. Happy cruising!
