Paradise TV channels?

OK, this is going to sound very crazy, but does anyone know what channels are carried on the Paradise TV's? Reason being that we're scheduled to sail the week of May 18th. My son (age 7 1/2) is a HUGE American Idol fan and just found out that the finals is during that week! We need to know if FOX network in carried aboard the Paradise.

I don't know about the Paradise, but one of our sons is a huge "Survivor" fan and he was able to catch it the week we cruised on the Inspiration. Also, I dragged my family of four guys (my husband and three sons) - all HUGE college basketball fans - on a cruise during March Madness - can you believe it? Anyway, they were able to watch those games, too. It was weird, though, because the one affiliates was out of Nashville (which was strange while cruising in the Caribbean), but whatever.

Probably won't be a problem.

Happy Sailing!

We sailed her last year and she did not get many channels. How about arranging for someone to videotape the finals while you're gone and then he can watch it when he gets home. Even if Paradise gets Fox, there's no guarantee you'll get it when the show is on. Selection seems to be finicky at times. Good luck. (This might be a great opportunity for your son to learn that there other really neat things besides TV...)

I think I would video it and then use the internet that night after the show because they update it and tell you everything that is going on .. I know that it is hard to get certain stations for sure .. Im an american idol fan myself ..

who does he want to win??????

Chris,

I am a HUGE Survivor fan and also American Idol. My husband watches 24, and all three shows will have their finales when we are on the Paradise. I will be taping all three shows, and I am going to have my mom tape them as a back-up. I guess that at my age I STILL haven't learned that there are other "neat" things besides watching TV!! That advice doesn't apply when you are watching a show every week like Survivor or American Idol; when they end, they end. No repeats. That's like watching the Super Bowl and not watching the end of a close game. Speaking of games, I hope the NBA and NHL finals will be on one of the big screen TVs in the bars. Don't count on seeing the shows while on the cruise. If you get lucky, then great, but make sure you tape them just in case. Tell your son that I bet Kimberly Locke will be the upset winner because the other votes will be split between Ruben and Clay.

OK, Idol fans....my son is a BIG Ruben fan, I want Clay to win, but think Kimberly Locke is a serious contender. Peggy, I like Butch and Matt for survivor.

Guess we'll try to get the news on the ship, or go to the internet cafe on Wednesday morning.

PS - tomorrow night, the Bee Gees will be the theme on AI !!!!
