We are booked on the 9-21-03 western sailing. We have been on about 10 cruises, but the ports of Belize and Honduras are new to us. We will have a party of 6 up to 85 years of age. I am 58 and love snorkeling. What can anyone recommend in these ports. It sounds like most people liked this ship. I was attracted because of a great price. I love to eat, how was the food? Did anyone try dinner in the bistro cafe? Thanks!

We took this cruise in February. We took the Goff Caye Snorkeling ship excursion and really enjoyed it. Others really enjoyed the Shark Snorkeling ship excursion, and others raved about cave tubing with an independent excursion operator named Reggie.

In Roatan, we took the Parrot Bay Beach Party excursion. We enjoyed that, but it was basically hanging out on a man-made cove/beach, plenty of chairs and shade! The driver of our excursion said there were better beaches and shopping at the West End.

Happy cruising!

Hi John: There will be a group of about 70-80 refugees from the "Norway" aboard the 9/21 Paradise. The group's motto will be "Perfect Plan B". Many of have cruised multiple times before. In my case, this will be cruise number 15. So, when you see dozens of cabins with similar door signs on them....as well as a bunch of people wearing similar t-shirts....don't be confused.

Come and say "hi". We're friendly folk. OK, MOST of us are. :)

I just got back from the Paradise. In Belize the big thing was cave tubing and many people also enjoyed snorkeling and scuba but they went with Coral Breeze and not with the ship tours. The ship tours were very expensive. Belize is a 25 minute tender ride to the shore from the ship.

Roatan snorkeling or laying on the beach were the big thing. Neither of these ports have a real lot of things to do. If you like Mahogony wood carvings there are some great ones in Roatan. Both these ports were very hot and humid. Roatan also has some interesting scenery with the lush forests and the hills.

The Paradise is a beautiful ship. The food was good somedays and excellent others. There is not a lot of choice in the buffet if you eat there. Pizza is not bad hot dogs and burgers are good poolside. Main dining rooms are a little crowded but nice.

Say Hi to Dennis the entertainer in the United States Bar for me LOL.
