I read somewhere - Can't find the post or on which of a number of message boards - that even though you don't have to show your passport in every country that you visit that you can still have it stamped at (maybe - a Vistor center - and that they have more unique stamps) - Can anyone help

I think I asked the question and that was the answer I got--I don't remember if it was this message board or another one either. I haven't had it verified or learned any more about it. Seems cool to go to a bunch of new countries and have the stamps to prove it! Maybe someone will fill us in! JM

Some countries are now computerized, and you actually have to ask them to stamp your passport. That is coming in through the airport. Not real sure about coming off a cruise ship. Since you have to have it to get on, they may assume everyone has one, and not check them getting off.

Happy Holidays!
