Is the passport situation the same in Europe as it is in the Caribbean? That is, we showed our passports upon boarding and it was never looked at (or stamped, obviously) for the duration of the cruise. I was a bit disappointed not to have stamps from the three countries we visited.
Since we're going to a few countries we've never visited before on our European cruise, I was wondering (and assuming) it's the same, esp with the EU acting as one big country. I love the little pictures of the planes and the trains on the country stamps on the pages of my passport--would love to have a ship there too! (Does anyone know if there is a regulation against writing in countries and dates on my own? I could even draw a tiny ship, I think!)
