Does anyone know if the Penthouse Suite cabins on the Carnival Conquest have a DVD player connected to the TV, or is it just a VCR. Thanks!

Doesn't look like it on the Virtual Tour and I see no mention of one in the brochure. Here's a link for you to take a look.

On travelocity and expedia, the amenities for the Penthouse suites are listed as:
Private balcony, two twin beds that convert to a king-size bed, sitting area, sofa, closet, dressing area, private bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower, hair dryer, mini refrigerator, minibar, TV with VCR, and safe
Since there is no mention of a DVD, I would imagine that it's only a VCR, but thought I would ask in case someone knew for sure.

Yeah.. The Carnival website lists VCR so that will be the case.
Just a word of warning...when looking at the dot com websites take the ship amenities they list with a grain of salt. Those are put on the site by the dot com I.T. people and not the cruise line. Case in point. When I was working for Expedia you can imagine my horror when the website listed ice skating rinks....on CELEBRITY ships. :dizzy Stick with the amenities listed on the cruise line websites.

We ahd a cat 12 on the conquest and all they had were vcr's hooked up to the tv. they did (in our cabin anyway) have rca jacks on the front of the tv. Hope this helps
