I don't quite understand your question, but I'll try. With Personal Choice, you aren't assigned a dining room or table. Usually, they set aside 1-2 dining rooms for those that are on Personal Choice. There is usually 1 or 2 other dining rooms set aside for traditional dining at a set time - 6:15 or 8:30 ish.
You can make reservations with Personal Choice for a particular table, particular waiter or particular time. Sometimes they'll take them and sometimes they will only allow you to reserve at certain times.
We liked Personal Choice when we had a group travelling with us because we didn't have to start from the beginning with small talk each time we ate. If it's just the two of you, you might be seated at a large table and have to explain your life history or cruise history each night. It could get old.
The flexibility of PC is nice, but I really like the stability of traditional dining. The waiter gets to know what our preferences are and it makes dining much smoother. It's a more personal way of dining, IMO. Both are great for different reasons.
What we do is one time we do PC, the next time, traditional.
