That was nothing, early May of 2005, I was on a transatlantic crossing on the Brilliance of the Sea. For a day and a half we were in 100 mile per hour winds, 35 to 45 feet waves. On the fourth floor atrium they had to put towels at the edges to soak up the sea water that was coming in from the waves.Every now and than the bow would raise dramactically and come crashing down with a loud thud. Of course all outside areas of the ship was locked. The storm didn't bother me too much. But one member of our party swore off transatlantic crossings.
