Lisa Flyer,

You can pack small cans of your own in your carry on. No one will say anything to you about bringing it onboard. The only place that they had pinapple juice on the Valor was at the bar.

Going to any bar you will have to pay for your juice. I dont see any pineapple juice on any of the menus I have. take your own.

Since you are taking your own blender-- dont forget the extension cord.

Darn... Ok, cans it is... I am flying in that morning (I know, I know... but I needed a cheap quick trip and couldn't get in the day before) and will grab a cab to the port- anyone know where the liquor store and the stop and shop is on the way there so I don't run all over town? Or, will the cabbie know that? It's going to be funny- I am bringing all the "beverages" for everyone, including wine, champagne (for mimosas), and the mixers- I guess I will just pack them all in one box and wheel it in...

make sure the box is small enough to fit through the x-ray machine. and if you get onboard before 1pm you might not be able to get to your cabin so you will have to cart that stuff around with you.

If needed- you can ask your cabbie to stop at the store...be it a liquor store or a grocery store.

On the Valor, their were drink machines that had fruit punch, lemmon aid and orange juice. The fruit punch mixed well with RUM!

I did not think you could bring your own liquor aboard ANY CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE SHIP. It says on there web sit you can bring a bottle of wine but you have to turn it in and pay a corking fee at dinner when it is served. Unless things have changed since July you cannot bring your own liquor on board. You can bring a limited number of soft drinks, water, etc....but don't get caught with liquour. They even take your liquor when you buy it in mexico.

EVERY cruise lines tell you that dont want you carrying on your own alcohol.
many people smuggle in their alcohol- the worse that happens is they confiscate your stash-
Do not carry it on-- it willget taken but if its in your checked luggage it will make it to your cabin safely.

Just to clarify… you are allowed to bring wine and/or champagne; multiple bottles if you wish, and you do not have to "turn it in". It is true that they charge a corkage fee, but only if you drink it in the dining room. You can drink it in your cabin (or even on deck, I suppose) without a corkage fee.
