I read somewhere that HAL is dropping the price from $30.00 to $ 20.00 to dine at the Pinncale grill.

I wouldn't even spend $20 per person. I think that the dining room food is very good!

The price change took place May 2. But on our 19 day cruise which ended on May 11, there wasn't any price drop.
The price change went into effect on our May 11 Alaskan cruise: $20 for dinner and $10 for lunch.

Took my first HAL cruise in April aboard the Veendam. Traveled by myself and had dinner at the Pinnacle Grill on the first night and had one of the best Filet Mignons ever!!! They had a $20 embarkation day special and it was well worth it.

Only once years ago did we have a bad meal at the Pinnacle - actually it was my favorite dessert - chocolate volcano cake -- it wasn't cooked - cold - sent it back and got a real good one.
