Leaving the ship, you pass your S@S sard through a machine which "reads" the magnetic strip. No further security. Upon return, you may [or may not] be required to show both your S&S/Photo ID to get back onto the dock. You may also have to allow a visual inspection of any packages you bring with you. As you board the ship itself, you'll need to have your S&S read by the same machine that did so when you left. Any packages [including your camera] must then go through an x-ray machine.
