I need to know what car rental companies will allow pick up in fort lauderdale and drop off at the port of miami. I can't find any port of miami locations, so any info on car rental places are greatly appreciated!!!!

As far as I know, all car rental companies have closed their stations at the port of Miami (after 11/9), but Alamo for example, does provide a free shuttle service between their Airport Location and the Port. I guess, most major car rental companies do offer this service. And usually, there is no one-way charge, if pick-up and drop-off of a car is in Florida!

I recently went on a search for similar needs. Basically, you use the airport locations. Hertz and Avis both have downtown locations that are closer, but no scheduled shuttle trips to the port. They have the airport shuttle stop for you when they get a chance.
We are on a 5 day cruise on NCL this month, and it was cheaper for us to rent a car for the 9 days and park it at the port, rather than start with 2 different rentals, pre and post. Go figure!

Avis does have a shuttle that goes to the Port of Miami , if you drop car off at their Miami location. We are renting a car after the cruise and Avis has assured me that they do provide a shuttel from the port of miami to the rental car location.
