I've noticed a great difference in port times for different cruise lines. Some are only there into the afternoon and others stay the entire day. Was looking at RCL Serenade of the Seas vs Carnival Spirit. The Seranade stays in the ports much longer than the Spirit especially on the Spirit 's Vancouver to Vancouver itinerary. This really cuts down on any excursions that we wanted to book on our own so it looks like we're doing the Seranade. In your opinion which ships have the longest port times. We can only do a 7 day itinerary because hubby can't be gone for a long period of time. 10 days max and we want to see Vancouver area.
