Ports of call and excursions?

So this is my first RC cruise, the two cruises before only had two stops. Our next cruise has four stops, Montego Bay, Labadee, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. We really don't want to spend a ton of money on excursions, and we really want to see the sights of all these stops or do things you can only do in these ports. We haven't booked any excursions yet but the ones we really want to do is the zip line in Montego Bay (I'm sure we'll get a great view of Jamaica) and we want to do the horseback riding in Cozumel to see the Mayan ruins. As for Grand Cayman and Labadee, what would you suggest would be a great inexpensive way to see these ports of call. Like can we just get on a beach for free, and chill out there all day?

(LOL- I should warn you and this may sound rather strange, but one of my fears is not spiders or snakes, but is fish, i don't like snorkeling or swimming where I can see fish, so any suggestions about snorkeling or scuba is appreciated but not taken, LOL! :p )

Grand Cayman: Take a taxi to 7 mile beach, and veg out for the day.
Some folks like the turtle farm or ride over to Hell to send a postcard...we are water people so those things miss us.
Labadee: Freebie, kick back on the beach.

Thanks... I was checking out the turtle farm thing... just heard it was kinda sad seeing all the turtles over crowded. And the seven mile beach is free beach?? I dont know if that sounds crazy "free beach" its just that I live near the NJ shore and most of the time you have to pay to get on to the beach.

Yes, Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman is free. It is just north of where the ships anchor.

Labadee is a private beach. It is owned by Royal Caribbean. So, for you it is free (so is the food on the beach). I've got a few pictures ...

By the way, did you know Ports of Call was in San Pedro? At any rate, I have a few more pictures of Labadee. Not everything you see is the pictures is free (the Wave Runners and the Zip line cost extra for example), but the beaches are all free ...

We did the wave runner in Labadee. About $100 but you can put two on one wave runner. Might be a little spendy for you but well worth it in my opinion. Seven mile beach is free and there are lots of vendors who rent water sports equipment. We rented a hobie sailboat for about $30 if memory serves. Did some snorkeling there too...not many fish as I recall.

=funsign on your cruise :thumb

We just booked the waverunner a couple of weeks ago. I believe it was $89 for one driver, the price was less for a passenger but still very expensive.

Thank you all for all the pictures and info!! Seeing those pictures make me soooooo much more excited and I cant wait!! 4 months is getting too long to wait especially after seeing those pictures! I have yet another question though, for seven mile beach do you have to take a taxi there or can you walk?

I think it is too far to walk. However, I have only driven by it on the way to Stingray City, so I don't really know for sure.
