Power Outage Did Victory get out of New York???

Just wondering if anyone knew of anyone on board the Carnival Victory sailing out of New York today.

Sure hope everyone made the ship with out any problems.

Maybe someone on the Victory will use the internet cafe and let us cruisers know what's going on.

amazingly enough..... as i was watching MSNBC.... they showed a video clip of the Victory leaving the harbor.... She looked WONDERFUL!

YEP!! I was on the Victory and we got out... about an 1 and 1/2 late, but we got out.... My husband and I were married on that ship and there was a large group of us that sailed... however my non-sailing wedding guests got stuck in the city.. they had to sleep on park benches, on the side walk at Grand Central, pitch black hotel rooms... What a nightmare. I felt horrible for them all!!!!!! BUT then I figured WE HAD POWER...... and frozen drinks so I couldn't let that ruin my WEDDING!!!!! UGH. Then when we pulled into Halifax... they didn't have power either.... it was a crazy trip!
