Prayers for a Friend, please?

A close friend of mine is slated for a series of tests within the next week including a CT Scan, and may require a surgical biopsy depending upon the results.

@ddicts' prayers have always been a great help, and we would really appreciate them now. Thank you.

OK Mary Ann, you know the drill ~ that long wait between tests and receiving the results are some of the longest weeks of my lifetime, so put on your thinking cap and come up with something clever to keep your friend 'occupied' during this wait. Lunch and shopping is always a good choice. LOL How about buying them a beautiful jigsaw puzzle to work on, or a great book that will take their imagination completely away from their current situation??

Hugs, Mariposa

Thank you, Audrey and Glo.

Good idea, Ronda. I'll come up with some activities to divert attention. How are YOU feeling??

Prayers have never stopped for Ronda. I have a needlepoint she made that she gave my friend when she was fighting cancer. After Jan passed, Ronda gave me the needlepoint. I see it every day...

Thanks for asking, I had some Xrays done last week and guess I'll have to wait till my next Doctor appointment on Feb 6 to get the results cuz last time I waited forever and finally asked for feedback and he faxed me the print out. Now I do well with medical terminology, but had a heck of a time interpreting this test result. Won't do that again. So I'm in the holding pattern of waiting as well. My way of coping this time, enjoying the visit of my long time childhood friend who drove all the way from Idaho to spend the week with me. Loving our time together ~ reminiscing and laughing about everything. We're currently having a bit of rainy weather so won't be running around quite so much the next couple days. Time to watch those movies she brought with her. Last night we watched Over the Hedge, very cute. Next fun project, go through all of my photographs. I want to give her any of the ones that she doesn't already have of her own family.

Hugs, Mari

My friend and I thank you for your continuing prayers.

The CT Scan has been done. More testing (probably a biopsy) will be done. While the situation is serious, please God it may not be quite so serious as originally thought. Prayers certainly are needed and appreciated.
