Prayers please for MIL

Jim's Mother was placed in hospice care, as she has had another stroke. Please pray for her and the family to accept this move to hospice. Since Jim comes from a very large family, seven brothers and sisters, there are different opinions of what should or should not be done. Thank you so much.

Sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, many families tend to feud when something like this happens. I sincerely hope that everyone will calmly come together & set their own feelings aside in order to do what is in the best interest of their mother. When my mother passed, we had a very positive experience with hospice. Hospice not only tended my mother's needs but they also helped the family accept the situation.

Alf & I have talked about this & we have made our wishes known to our kids as to what we would like done if & when this should happen to us. We have also talked to our dr. about it. In fact he was the one who first brought the subject up to us.

Hospice care for my mother was an easy decision for me and my brothers. I am so relieved that if something happens to me or I get sick she will go into a hospice facility and not a nursing home!

Thank you once again for the prayers. Jim's brother called and the Hospice nurse said that their's Mom's time was any day now. She can no longer swallow, and she is sleeping all the time. The family is beginning to gather, so may I please ask again for prayers?
