I have a question. If after I make the final payment for my cruise the price on the rooms drop, will Carnival credit my family with the difference or is it tough luck? I know it is a dumb question, but we have never cruised before. Thanks and happy cruising to all.

Carnival will first offer a room upgrade to you and if none where available then an onboard credit. Hope that helps you out.

Keep checking the prices because sometimes they dont notify you , and you have to call them but sometimes it goes down about 4 weeks before and then jumps back up .. If you call them when it is down they will give you an upgrade and sometimes a shipboard credit also ..

Im not sure that they do that automatically . I had to call the last time .. this time I watched it but the price went UP up up .
and never down ... so we got the lowest price anyway .. but we didnt book it that far in advance....
Im thinking it might be wise to book a couple of cruises for this year at these rates..

or for even 2004 .. they are pretty cheap and they do give you credit if it goes down but you just pay more if it goes up ..

SO BOOK EM DANO

The best bet is for you to do the monitoring of prices for your Category and to contact your TA if you notice a considerable price drop for your category even after final payment and up until 72 hrs. before the cruise. If you note the price drop on 2 internet sites, you can be assured that your TA should be able to get you at least a cabin credit. This way Carnival still gets their money, but you have some "fun" money to spend on board. Don't expect that Carnival will contact your or your agent. It probably won't happen.
Bon Voyage
