True those cabins are lower in price but to be at the way tip of the bow on that high of a deck, you know why they are priced so low.

The Cat. II inside cabins are the most expensive inside cabins on the Grand ,the next best price for an inside was $614. The Cat. II was $444 and I got a $100 shipboard that make it $394 for the most expensive inside cabin this includes the port fees also.

Will they adjust your rate when the price drops? I thought they no longer did that. Wow, that would be great. How do you accomplish this?

You got an even better deal then, 444.00 less 100.00 is 344.00. How on earth did you ever get a deal like that? Princess never lowballs less than 399.00 for inside.

I have the answers to this. I was in catagory JJ (inside cabin for November 9) and paid 619, plus 52.95 fees. My friends booked on catagory II for 469 plus the fees. So I wanted the better price and ended up mid ship, catagory I for 459 plus fees per person. I also got an onboard credit of $50 per person, but that is a special through my travel agent. As for the price difference, I called Princess myself to find out. It is a promotion they are running for those two inside catagories, as well as outside G on the lowest level. However the rate is only for November and december, so they told me and only for certain regions. For example, I told them my nearest airport was Philadelphia, and the rate was their normal rate, but when I told them I lived in New Jersey, the rate dropped as New Jersey is a part of the promotion. Go on Orbitz or Travelocity and pick the grand princess cruise. Then select it and say you want your on airfare. Put in Phioadelphia as your nearest city and look at the prices for those catagories. Then do the same thing and selct Newark, NJ as the nearest city and look at the difference. No, they will not just drop your price, You have to catch it and request the change in price and even move your cabin if you are in a different catagory.

thank you for the info. One last question. When you catch it do you have your travel agent call and request it or do you call them directly and ask for the change?

I appreciate the help.

You have to have your travel agent call. I tried to do it myself, but they told me that if you gio through an agent, they cannot discuss any money matters with you or move your cbin without your agent calling to do it for you.
