Price of soda and frozen thingees?

I've heard that you can buy soda and/or drink coupons on Carnival ships but what is the price of a regular soda/drink whithout a coupon? Is it cheaper or the same price? I'd like to know if I would be saving if I bought coupons....Thanks for any info you can provide.

I forget the exact price of the soda cards but it was ~$80-90 for 2 kids and 1 adult soda card. I think it was $25 for kids and $35 for adults or something like that. Anyway, I believe its at least $3 per soda so if you drink more than 1 a day its better to get the card. Also, at least on our cruise, you got about 1/2 a can poured into a cup full with ice. The first thing we did when we got on the ship was buy the cards.

We also bought our son (18) a soda card for $17.00. The cost depends on the length of cruise. Our cruise was for 5 days. We did not buy an adult card. Individual adult drinks were about $4.95 each. Never bought a soda.
