Hi All,
My family will be cruising next March and my hubby likes his beer. He won't drink
domestic beer unless there is no other choice. Can anybody tell me what brands of beer are sold and how much they cost? I have previously sailed on the Grand, however,
I drink frozen thingees not beer, so I have no clue about the beer.

Thanks!

I know they have Red Stripe, Carona, Heineken, Amstel Light and I beleive in Jan. the price was $3.25 plus gratuity. I also always try and bring back a six pack from the island of their local beer to give it a try and MOST of them have been VERY Good.

I've never found the prices for beer or mixed drinks to be out of line with most bars at home.

Well, well, well....Looks like Hubby is getting into the Cruise Spirit, huh?! You'll turn him into an @ddict yet, Girl! Maybe after he has a "taste" of the Caribbean, he won't let you go with the other girls and I next Oct.....LOL!

Hi All,

Hey Pat :lol. Thanks for the tip Einstein, I'm sure he would enjoy tasting the local island beer. Do you have any suggestions for good, local beer on St. Thomas or St. Marteen?

Thanks for all the info, you guys are great!

Rose :cheers

If U get to Antigua someday try their local brew called Wadali. Domenica has a good local brew titled Kabuli and on Barbados try Banks Beer. That should keep hubby happy. :thumb

Tell your husband to pack a suitcase with his beer of choice. Heck, I usually bring a case onboard to supplement cosumption during the week. It is nice to have beers in your cabin when you want them and not necessarily have to order out. Believe me, he will be thankful for your suggestion. Have a great time......
