no one answered you because you ask about drink prices on a cruise ship.

by that I mean, which ship and which drink.

water is free on any deck

tea is free on 3 decks and room service

coffee is free on all decks

coke cost 3 times the land price

beer cost , it depends on the brand plus extra

wine, there again, brand plus extra

the hard stuff, same as above plus extra

juice, depends, free

what else ?

Ah thanks. I was thinking more hard liquor and beer.

Examples:
Like a Margarita, or fruity drink of sorts.
Beer...Miller Lite and such not draft.

Ship: Glory

Reply seemed kind of snippy to me. We've always figured on $100 a day for our shipboard bill. That would include, souvenirs, gratuities, drinks, etc. Even though all drinks come with a 15% gratuity added on we usually will tip an additional dollar for servers who go above and beyond ordinary service, such as, they quickly remember our names and what we like to drink, are always smiling and happy. We even hunt them up on the last day with an envelope containing an additional tip. Prices for drinks, say $4.00 for a Bud, $5 - 6 or so for a premium import or micro brew, $6 -7 for a mixed drink, and around $8 - 9 for a martini. Those are ballpark figures.

One thing to remember, all those servers, bartenders, waiters, room stewards are putting in long hours, and working hard. We always have treated them like equals, as partners in our cruise. Some people just don't get that. You will see those of who I speak.

Enjoy the cruise, Paul S

Beer cost around $4.50 a beer.

Figure $5.00 to $15.00 per drink including the 15% tip. Depends on the quality of the hooch you like. Prices are in the lower middle range of resort prices or medium to large city hotels bar prices.

Welcome to @ddicts..I don't sail Carnival but do sail her corporate sister Princess Cruise lines..we are allowed to roller up wine and champagne on Princess and we don't drink beer..BUT

Just as an FYI... the bars *DO* have what is called a "Bucket of Beer" option..as a "freebie".. you get one free for buying in bulk at that moment....( it's either buy 4;get the 5th, or buy 5 and get the 6th...)..

so IF you are going to be parked at the pool, on your balcony , etc etc..you CAN do that also..not sure what the current cost is on Carnival for a "Bucket of Beer " and the brands available..I have seen Heineken;Coors,Bud, Dos X..but figured it might be something you could at least hear of..Happy research !! :cheer:...:)..Joanne
