we have read some reveiws about the pride, that were not very good lately and we are booked for a cabin on the stern of the ship, I just want to hear some positive feedback about this ship, and specificly about the cabins across the back, I know we'll have fun,I just wish I had not read the bad review, please help me regain confidence about the quality of the ship and service on the pride. thanks

I sailed in April. Did not have a stern cabin. Loved the ship and the service. The dining room is in the back of the ship. I didn't feel movement or hear noise back there.

Jorene, don't be concerned about any negative " reviews " about the Pride. For every bad report you can find more good reports. That's true with any ship. Some people don't know what to expect or expect too much and the least little thing, they complain.

I have sailed twice on the Pride, both times in aft cabins ( empress deck, cabins # 6331 and 6262 ) and can tell you there is no undue noise, vibrations, etc. that will affect your cruise. A ship is a moving piece of machinery floating on the water and there will be movement--sometimes worse than other times, all due to how rough or calm the water may be. I had no complaints period about anything on the Pride. Our steward was fine, waiters were fine, food was good and plenty of it.

Don't worry about anything--you will have a great cruise..

thanks so much, the onle reason I did worry is I havent found very many reveiws on the pride and then to read a really bad one, we have also sailed in an aft cabin, but on a RCI ship, and I know it differs from ship to ship, thanks for letting me hear the good stuff too!!
have fun

Have sailed the Pride twice. That should say it all. Had an aft balcony on the last cruise. 4230 There was some vibration but nothing that bothered me. I think that many people are a little bit uncomfortable being way out in the ocean and little vibrations scare them.
Had a waiter [Chubby] that was the best we have ever had in 39 cruises on every line possible.
A word about negative reviews-DON'T READ THEM- They didn't take your cruise and you aren't taking their cruise. Go on your cruise and enjoy it.

We were on the Pride in March and absolutly loved it. Our cabin was almost in the stern. We were on deck 6 in the last cabin before the one with the wraparound balc. We only felt a little bit of vibration and it didn't bother us a bit. In fact, it probably helped to lull me to sleep. My kids (age 12 and14) said it was the best vacation they ever had. I had read a couple of neg. reviews prior to ours too but I wouldn't give them a second thought.
Have a great time.
