Wes, I have a detailed review that I wrote 2/2002 on the Pride. I don't even remember where I posted it. If you would like a copy which is in a Word document format, please send me your email address.
We are even thinking of sailing on her again for the Mexican Riviera.
Bon Voyage

Went on the Pride in March 2002. It was fabulous. The decor is sort of strange, there are lots of Renaissance art w/ nude people in them, and then David's Supper Club (the $25/pp charge extra restaurant...which is worth EVERY penny!) has a life size replica of the Statue of David.

I really loved all the public rooms, especially Beauties Dance Club, Butterflies Lounce, Starry Night lounge, Mermaid's Grille (buffet eatery) and the Sunset Garden (wrap around indoor promenade)

The staterooms were a nice size, I stayed in a balcony cabin with my parents, and there was plenty of room for all of us, and all of our luggage.

There was plenty of deck space, and three main pools, one being adult-only.

I posted a review on this website, it's on the last page of the Pride reviews...4 I believe.

Hope that helps!

I've never cruised before and I've created a group of classical guitar lovers to join me on this ship "The Pride".

I've loved the pictures I've found on this website regarding the pride and decided that this ship would be the perfect theme for my guitar celebration.

Thus, I've taken the first Los Angeles based Classical Guitar festival and put it on the pride to create - the Maiden Voyage of the Classical Guitar Cruise on The Pride.

I can't wait till Decmeber 7th, 2003 to be on this ship for an entire week from Long Beach, CA to the Mexican Riviera.

Feel free to visit my site and I hope you'll join me and some of the best classical guitarists on the planet for a week of fine music, exotic ports, and wonderful food aboard this floating palace.

See you on the ship...
