Princess anytime dining on formal nights

We are cruising in August on a 12night Mediterranean on Princess. Just wondering, if we have choosen anytime dining if it is proper to dress formal on those nights in the regular restaurants. It would be great not to have to pack so many long dresses and more importantly for my husband no suits when it is a longer trip and hot weather during our cruise.

The Anytime Dining rooms follow the requested dress code for that night. Same thing for the pay restaurants.The buffet(lido-horizon court) does not follow the dress code, other than shirts and shoes, maybe pants are required too. You will find people eating in the buffet on formal nights, dressed to the nines down to comfy clothes.

Formal Nights -
Evening gown, cocktail dress or elegant pants suit for women.
Tuxedo, dark sit or dinner jacket slacks for men. (Note - he can probably get away with a dress shirt, slacks and tie.)
