Mike, Thanks.. that is very helpful. I am presuming that the new adult area is the furthest Cabins on the left?

Nice map Mike. I wonder when they are gonna find time to put in a REAL Beach for ALL those Bungalows folks spend Good $$$ on???

So, the bungalows do not have a nice beach?

Well there is LOTS of sand around but the BIG problem is the entry to the water is quite rocky. So it makes for a difficult swim unfortunately. :hammer:

The beaches to the right after you get off the tender had the best access I saw there. And they are not as crowded as the ones to the left.

The beach access at the area where the bungalows are is spotty at best. Some areas have large chunks of limestone (too big to be rocks when they are as big as a car). And the area furthest up the beach has a sea wall and steps down to the water. The Sanctuary bungalows are at the very far left.

Denise, Mike has described it very well.
I have not really had a problem getting in and out of the water, but I really have to watch where I walk.

Another question...I don't see on the map where the tenders actually come in...channel entrance? And the pathways around the island...are they paved, gravel or packed sand?

The tenders come into the channel entrance and pull into the area called the Love Boat Marina ( Right Center of Map Mike Posted) and then dock near the watersports area and unload.

The paths are indeed paved with cement as seen in the photo below.

The beach area just to the right or left of the unloading area is very nice for swimming.

Another nice thing about Princess Cay is it has lots of shaded areas. Shade is provided by either trees, thatch covered stands or metal roofed pavilions as seen in the photo below.

There are also MANY vendors setup just outside the gate with their wares. Most of them ONLY take Cash!!!

The standard bungalows look something like these.

And of course there are MANY of these located around to make sure U do NOT dehydrate.

U are MOST welcome Denise. U also raise a good point about weather conditions as that plays a vital role in whether or NOT they even decide to stop. We have been lucky the last 2 times to get in but before that we went 3 years without stopping. :hammer: Hopefully the weather WILL cooperate this time around as Princess Cay is a lovely stop for a last :beach: day.

I'm with you Red ....stop jinking our day at the Beach in P. Cays. We even went ashore when it was raining .... it cleared up beautifully a short time later.

I have a question on mobility. FIL walks fine, but is very slow. After getting off the tender, which way should we go, Right or Left, for the most level ground and easiest place to find shade, food, drinks,...and, easiest access to the water for swimming?

Den & I will get off first, get our chairs arranged and then they can meet us there.

Thnx!!!

The area to the right after the tenders has easy shore access, but limited shade (at least the last time we were on that side several years ago). The area to to immeditate left after the tenders is also easy access, but gets more crowded.

Once you get to the bungalows, the access gets much harder.

Mike & E, the below pic of E's is the type of space we'll need...is this on the Right or Left?
